Designer Libuše Niklová (1934-1981) contributed to one of the major chapters in the history of modern Czech design through her collaboration with Fatra, a brand founded in Napajedla that has engaged in plastic processing and the production of plastic products since 1935.

Her iconic designs from 60’s & 70’s, at the time of their origin, were so extraordinary that their production process was patented. This delightful series was re-issued to mark Fatra’s 75th Anniversary and featured in acclaimed retrospective exhibitions at MoMA NYC and Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris. 

Now, Fatra reproduces some of Libuše Niklová’s most popular & charming inflatable toys alongside further inspirational collaborations with contemporary product designers on playthings for today’s kids.

Made in the Czech Republic from health-certified premium 3mm PVC in a traditional manner and using the original machines.
